If you will be out of New Zealand for more than 21 days, it is legally required that your property be managed in your absence. Section 16A of the Residential Tenancies Act states that a landlord appoints a New Zealand based agent and notify their tenants and the bond centre.

Kelly is an excellent Property Manager, I was her tenant for 3 years and she took exceptional care of the property for the Owners.
